16th YNU Japanese Speech Contest Call for Contestants

日時と場所／Date and Location

•　日時：2026年12月15日（火）12:30〜14:30
•　場所：YNU教育文化ホール　大集会室 YNU Education and Culture Hall

テーマ／Theme

あの日の選択／The Choice I made that day

*テーマに合った内容のスピーチを考えてください。スピーチの内容に関係するオリジナルのタイトルも考えてください。
Please prepare a speech that fits the theme. Please come up with an original title related to the content of your speech.

*日本語のクラスで作成したスピーチ原稿では応募できません。
You cannot use your speech draft that is written for the Japanese course assignment.

応募資格／Eligibility

•　横浜国立大学に在籍する留学生で、12月15日（火）に教育文化ホールでスピーチができる方
•　YNU International student who can give a speech at the YNU Education and Culture Hall on December 15th, Tuesday.

出場カテゴリー／Speech Contest Categories

• 初中級の部（Beginning〜Intermediate level）


日本語初中級者／横浜国立大学日本語コースJ100〜J300レベル
Beginning〜Intermediate level／YNU Japanese Language Course：J100〜J300

*スピーチは一人３分以内です。スライドは４枚まで使うことができます
The speech must be within 3 minutes. PowerPoint slides can be used up to 4 pages (no animation).

• 中上級の部（Intermediate〜Advanced level）


日本語中上級者／横浜国立大学日本語コースJ400〜J600のレベル
Intermediate〜Advanced level／YNU Japanese Language Course：J400〜J600

*スピーチは一人４分以内です。スライド（PowerPoint）は６枚まで使うことができます。
The speech must be within 4 minutes. PowerPoint slides can be used up to 6 pages (no animation).

賞／Award

• 最優秀賞・優秀賞・読売新聞社賞・校友会賞・参加賞他
Excellence Award・Best Award・Yomiuri Shimbun Award・Koyukai Award・Participation Prize


• 最優秀賞受賞者には10,000円の現金贈呈
10,000 yen cash will be awarded to the Excellence Award recipient.


• 優秀賞受賞者には5,000円の現金贈呈
5,000 yen cash will be awarded to the Best Award recipient.

応募方法／Application Procedures

締切 (deadline)：10月22日（木）17時　 October 22nd, 17:00


1)以下のOffice 365 Formsに必要な事項を記入し、応募してください。
Fill in the Office 365 Forms and submit your application.

2)「①タイトル」「②スピーチを通して伝えたいメッセージ（150〜200字）」で一次選考を行います。
The followings will be used for the 1st screening.
① Main title ②Your message through your speech（150-200 characters in Japanese）

3)一次選考の結果は10月27日（火）までにメールでお知らせします。
Notification of the 1st screening result will be sent by October 27.

4) スピーチ大会出場者に選ばれた場合は、スピーチの第一稿（first draft）を11月15日（日）までに提出してください。
If you are selected as a contestant, you need to submit your first draft by November 15th.

※翻訳ソフト・翻訳アプリ・生成AIの使用は禁止です。
Use of translation software, translation App, or AI is not allowed.

・サポーターの学生が、スピーチ原稿のチェックや発表の練習の手伝いをしてくれます。
There will be supporter(s) who can help you with your speech draft and speech practice.


・本スピーチ大会は読売新聞横浜支局および横浜国立大学校友会の後援のもと実施されます。
This speech contest is held with the support of the Yomiuri Shimbun Yokohama Bureau and the Yokohama National University Alumni Association “Koyukai”.
