13th YNU Japanese Speech Contest Call for Contestants]

１． スピーチ大会概要／About the Speech Contest

予定／Schedule

      • 日時：2023年12月12日（火）12:30〜14:30
      • 場所：YNU教育文化ホール　大集会室 YNU Education and Culture Hall


２． テーマ／Theme

• 私を変えた○○／(This) changed my life.

      *○○には、自分のスピーチの内容に合った言葉を入れてください。
      Please choose an appropriate word for ○○ for your speech title.

      *日本語のクラスで作成したスピーチ原稿では応募できません。
      You cannot use your speech draft that is written for the Japanese course assignment.


３． 応募資格／Eligibility

• 横浜国立大学に在籍する留学生で、12月1２日（火）に教育文化ホールでスピーチができる方
• YNU International student who can give a speech at the YNU Education and Culture Hall on December 12th, Tuesday.


４． 出場カテゴリー／Speech Contest Categories


• 初中級の部（Beginning〜Intermediate level）

日本語初中級者／横浜国立大学日本語コースJ100〜J300レベル
Beginning〜Intermediate level／YNU Japanese Language Course：J100〜J300

*スピーチは一人３分以内です。スライドは４枚まで使うことができます
The speech must be within 3 minutes. PowerPoint slides can be used up to 4 pages (no animation).


• 中上級の部（Intermediate〜Advanced level）

日本語中上級者／横浜国立大学日本語コースJ400〜J600のレベル
Intermediate〜Advanced level／YNU Japanese Language Course：J400〜J600

*スピーチは一人４分以内です。スライド（PowerPoint）は６枚まで使うことができます。
The speech must be within 4 minutes. PowerPoint slides can be used up to 6 pages (no animation).


賞／Award

• 最優秀賞・優秀賞・参加賞他
Excellence Award・Best Award・Participation Prize

• 最優秀賞受賞者には10,000円の現金贈呈
10,000 yen cash will be awarded to the Excellence Award recipient.

• 優秀賞受賞者には5,000円の現金贈呈
5,000 yen cash will be awarded to the Best Award recipient.


５． 応募方法／Application Procedures

締切 (deadline)：10月19日（木）17時　 October 19th, 17:00

① 以下にあるOffice 365 Formsに必要な事項を記入し、応募してください。
    Fill in the Office 365 Forms and submit your application. 　 　

② 「タイトル」および「スピーチの要旨」で一次選考を行います。 　 　
    Your speech title and summary of the speech will be used for the 1st screening. 　　

③ 一次選考の結果は10月24日（火）までにメールでお知らせします。
    Notification of the 1st screening result will be sent by October 24th.

④ スピーチの第一稿（first draft）を11月12日（日）までに提出してください。
     Submit your first draft by November 12th.

６． その他／Others

・過去のスピーチの原稿・動画はこちらで見ることができます。
You may check out the speech drafts and movies from the past YNU Japanese Speech Contest here.
・サポーターの学生が、スピーチ原稿のチェックや発表の練習の手伝いをしてくれます。
There will be supporter(s) who can help you with your speech draft and speech practice.
